hate the shopping experience but the stuff is cheap and does what you want.

Rochard 03-02-2012 12:58 PM

Love the fucking sweedish meatballs they have there. Yum yum yum.

Every time I go to Ikea I can't stop myself from thinking about those people in Japan and China who live in these shoe boxes and say to myself "Why don't they use Ikea stuff to make really cool rooms".

I have some Ikea shelves behind me. I love them.

I'd buy it and place it on top of Mt. Rushmore.

martinsc 03-02-2012 01:02 PM

I kinda like the storage ideas IKEA has to show.....

bbobby86 03-02-2012 01:07 PM

good idea...

getreal 03-02-2012 01:09 PM

My friend had to take a week vacation to put Ikea bedroom set together... Honestly, how many of you would spend a week fighting with screws, bolts and frames? USA likes it delivered in white gloves ready to use. Could never figure out who are Ikea's customers here in FL... Maybe college students. But love their Swedish crepes and free kid care center :winkwink:

I am assembly challenged, everyone better stay out of the room, or their ears will turn blue:Oh crap

Markul 03-02-2012 01:39 PM

In the more darker period of my youth, I used to work for them. God damn I ate a lot of meatballs lol

Tom_PM 03-02-2012 02:09 PM

Hell, why NOT I suppose. Be a shame if it came up short a door or beam here and there.

alias 03-02-2012 02:10 PM

90k for a Swedish trailer, wonder how well it will do.

mikesouth 03-02-2012 02:20 PM

A fucking trailer (and a small one at that) for 87K fuck you you can buy 2BR, 2BA on an acre for that price here

DWB 03-02-2012 02:21 PM

That would be a great "boys room" or home office out in the back yard.

I think the market segment that are buying Ikea Furniture would be old people from Canada, who make the their annual winter migration, down to nice weather and buffets. They are called Snowbirds.:thumbsup

Chosen 03-02-2012 09:36 PM

I don't :pimp

pornsprite 03-02-2012 09:45 PM

My entire office is furnished from IKEA. The desk and bookshelf are lightweight and sturdy which makes bringing the un-assembled pieces upstairs easy. I once muscled a desk I got from an office furniture sale into my office up two flights of stairs and I made the decision then to find light weight furniture that was sturdy from then on.

Worse, I'm an old retard and it didn't take me that long to put stuff together. :1orglaugh

Same here Pornsprite.

I spent ten years selling office furniture and the quality/cost of IKEA furniture is second to none. About to take a mouthful of IKEA coffee from my IKEA mug. :1orglaugh

What the fuck is that laying there? looks like they just killed someone.

CurrentlySober 03-03-2012 04:16 AM

Love to buy from Ikea ?

muckfe 03-03-2012 06:26 AM

Same here, when I moved out of my parents place it was great to get all this ok looking furniture for cheap :thumbsup

Django 03-03-2012 07:09 AM

I bought my desk there and it's excellent (250?)

V_RocKs 03-03-2012 09:13 AM

too small

DamianJ 03-03-2012 09:28 AM

http://www.ikeahackers.net/ ftw

bronco67 03-03-2012 10:14 AM

It's kind of like a high end trailer.

NaughtyRob 03-03-2012 10:51 AM

$86K is expensive for essentially a trailer. Plus you still need to buy the land.

Jacob[Soft] 03-05-2012 11:32 AM

like Ikea and its prices!

RyuLion 03-05-2012 11:36 AM

Love that place..

I don't need a big desk :)

sandman! 03-05-2012 11:53 AM

will pass on the high end trailer.

xNetworx 03-05-2012 11:58 AM

The time it takes to assemble some of their items negates the savings imho

Sophie Delancey 03-06-2012 08:03 AM

Ikea is like the happiest place on earth to me. I would totally buy five of those and smush 'em together to make an epic pentagon house with a pool in the centre...
