icq and rasppoe and my new isp
 

since i installed raspppoe i cant connect to icq and a few other sites but i can connect to my new isp with no problem

the docs i read say this connection problem could be due to a
bad mtu setting problem but my ideal mtu setting is 1492
I've tried other mtu settings and also adjusting the rwin between 8,000 and 20,000 like they say on dsl reports

but i just cant connect to icq and a few websites..
i connect here just fine

any ideas?
i'm running win98se
