Affiliates: THE Most Important Promo Tools Are...?
 

Hey everyone!

I'm updating www.peabodycash.com with all-new promo tools now that I have a full-time affiliate webmaster. This means weekly updates, custom promo tools within 24 hours (or less), new sites added monthly and more ways to help you all make money with our amazing content. :)

So which of the following tools do you want most? And please add your suggestions if you don't see what you need:

FHGs (pics & videos)
Banners (what sizes?)
ZIP sets (# of pics, vids per set)
Embeddable Flash videos (how long?)
Import/Export Videos for Tubes (what length of video is best for your site?)
What about page peels? Floating ads? Pop-unders? What else would you want?

several link codes w/different landing pages is a given.
I've noticed people use flash embeds for their tube style sites, and blogs..

The content. Pics, videos, embeds.

Link codes we have, differant landing pages we also have but I'm thinking we could use a lot more.

That's what we have, a shitload already on the site (and much more coming).
Content is King (just ask Paul Markham) and we have some of the best-converting on the Net.

I'm looking for linkcodes to specific pornstar pages.

Vivid does that and from my understanding we are providing all that too you with the clips that are coming your way here in the next few days.

picture content and banners

Hosted tube clips with thumbnails (poster image), and maybe look at doing them as mp4 not flash. If they can be grabbed in an xml feed that would be very very nice.

Don't forget picture of the day and video of the day. :)

For what it's worth, I do well with peel ads. They're subtle and do not distract from the primary message of the page and open the door for found revenue.

for me it's picture FHG / picture content download / embed for flvs in different sizes / banners :thumbsup :thumbsup

I use FHGs and banners, for all the blogs I create I link the pictures to movie or picture FHGs and then put banners in the sidebars. You would think FHGs would be a given nowadays but I've seen some sponsors have NO FHGs which wouldn't be so bad if they would give you a temp pass so you could make your own.

Galleries absolutely blow conversion wise and usually only work to saturate/brand a paysite. Hopefully it's working for you though. :thumbsup

But yeah, you gotta be creative today..

Constantly updated, well written, SEO'd + Morphed, multiple category RSS feeds with a lot of items per feed.

good conversions and quality content

Video flash banners, regular banners, fhgs, promo vids and members area access is all I ever need. Rather do everything myself.

dumps with decent descriptions
also be able to export dumps where there are not 5 of the same content (sometimes they'll do 5 galleries of a certain model, all from the same shoot (same loctaion, same clothes)... pointless when importing them into a site cos they're all basically same content

Congrats for your sites man ! Very nice work :thumbsup There is a lot of hours of work in there.

From my experience, FHG (15 pics or 4 20sec videos) and zip content (20 pics) are what most affiliates are looking for. Some of them will also ask for rss content. Of course nice jpg, gif and flash banners are always usefull. As for the size, it is different from affiliate to affiliate. I don't think that I bring anything new but it was just my :2 cents:

FHGs
Video's, about 2 minutes and up
Photos, about 15 to 20 per set

Anybody who has this together with the name of the model please send it over.

Thanks everyone! The descriptions are the challenge so i guess I'll have to write 'em up myself. LOL

FHGs we have - need some Flash banners tho....

Model names: Problem with that is much of my content is so unique and non-Pornstar/model-related (which is why it converts so well, it's so unique) so getting a "model name" for listing would be a challenge. But we'll give it a shot. :)

RSS/XML Feeds!!!

Hosted tube clips is what I need. Length 2-3 minutes, trailer style. A lot of programs provide just random parts cut from the scene, which of course don't convert as good as a trailer that gives the surfer an overview of positions/acts he can find in the scene.

Stage names. :thumbsup

Real names. :mad:

As so few here reveal there real name and most model releases give a stage name, everyone should play the game. If they want models to keep coming into porn.
