ratios on exit pop-ups to main site
 

say you have a paysite that converts on average at 1:250

the site has a chain of exit pop-ups.... given that u have optimised the popups for best conversion what sort of ratio are we looking at for sales on the exits pop-ups to uniques to the main site?

If you do your popups with certain display staying power techniques :Graucho you can achieve extemely strong conversions.

Depending on the exit (text exit first so it loads fast) and it depends if you do a blur or normal exit you will see a range of 40-60% of your visitors will view the exit. You should convert between 1:1000-2000 VIEWS of the exit. That does depend on the style, color and sponsors being used on the exit.
