Which would you prefer to be?
A Dead Butterfly, or a Living Caterpillar?
If you vote, please also post - Why? |

caterpillar - because I assume the butterfly offed itself due to it's image being so over used in horrible tramp stamps...and I can't live with that on my mind. |

So far - Dead Butterfly FTW !
Yet... no one has said why? |

FWIW - This Question actually comes, from an old 'Kung Fu' COMIC BOOK QUESTION... |
do i care what i am when i'm dead? :)
voted on living caterpillar |
Presumably a living caterpillar ends up as a dead butterfly anyway, so might as well go through the whole experience.
|
Dead butterfly.... at least the butterfly had been a living caterpillar & changed into something beautiful :thumbsup

i hate worms, i dont wanna be one..
I guess a dead butterfly lived a wonderfull life.. but now as i think about it, the worm has her life ahead of her.. and the butterfly is dead.. am i suicidal deep down? :o |
Living caterpillar so I can be eaten by a bird who then shits all over this thread all in your honor.

My wife and I were watching Walking Dead last night, and one of the characters wanted to commit suicide because there was no point to life anymore. I was saying I would want to live no matter what. I'd scratch and claw to stay alive for every second I can. My wife said she'd want it to be over and just die quickly. We had the same discussion when we watched The Road.
There's no middle ground. I think you'd be either one type or the other. Caterpillar. I don't see the point to being a butterfly briefly if you're dead and don't exist anymore. |
Caterpillar.
Ooooh! all those yummy green leaves, vegetarian heaven :-) |

I would prefer to be everyone and everything :)

Well, the answer that was given in the Kung Fu comic, was that it was better to be the dead butterfly...
Because (apparently) it was one step closer to true enlightenment! |
