Are you sure you are allowed to use the name OnlyMoviesite.com ? when a huge movie site exists already under the name onlymovies.com , it would be like using

Thehunsite.com
sleazydreamsite.com


you're obviously using one of the biggest movie tgp sites name and goodwill to push your movie site when you dont know anything about the movie industry. I personally think you should change the name to something else, your movie paysite is new and if you want it to actually be promoted it would be the smart thing to do.
The onlymovies crew does alot for the movie industry and even threw a pretty sweet party in Vegas where a ton of Players in the industry (movie and other) attended..

I can pretty much guarantee you wont see a gallery listed or even promoted on any of the following sites if this guy were to take any action against you!

But as far as galleries on onlymovies.com and promotional spam on thinkreel.com, any galleries or promotion of his mensniche sites will be banned.

It's too generic a name to seem parasitical to me.

I innocently copied onlymovies list one time for a small site with 100 hits a day thinking its not worth updating and that he would have his own paid galleries in the list.

He sends me a email telling me if I don't take down the links he's going to sue me, he owns erotic.com and is rather big I think. So I took it down and copied someone else but what an asshole. Who cares if someone copies your list, I mean it doesn't lose you money you should have a bunch of sponsors galleries already listed through out. Its only going to make you more money and at the top of every gallery is your recip so he gets free advertising too. everybody wins.

I guess they see it differently to me, anyways that was ages ago and I have given up on this crappy tgp biz and doing more profitable stuff now

Ideas are a dime a dozen - there's a million of them out there - why take someone else's?
I have little respect for those people who go around trying to gain instant credibility by making their site look like or sound like someone else's. Build your own fuckin repuatation. It's take a TON of work and piles of money. The one good thing is when someone like onlymovies gets ripped off their reputation stands for itself and the person who ripped them off pretty much signs their own death warrent business wise when word gets out amoung reputable webmasters.

I had this guy that bought freefuckingmovies.com and redirected it to a bunch of pop ups. (The original is fuckingfreemovies.com for those who don't know) . took me forever that get that undone. Luckily I own it now hehe.

You spend hours a day for months or years reviewing links to get a list together, and see how much fun it is when someone comes in, swipes your entire list on a daily basis and uses it on their site.

Looks like one guy is using someone elses name for his own gain.
Most of us take a very dim view of that type of behaviour.
I also assumed that this was Mikes site. I would advise Darren to quickly change the name of the site and to mitigate the damage now. Just do it...

Hey Soul, good to see you. It was a bit of a shocker when i woke up to a flood of email about it. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, thus the reaction.

To be honest, I've been in business way to long to worry about holding grudges against anyone, nor am I into pissing or what not on message boards. What's done is done. If the 'mistake' was deliberate, fine. And if not, fine. Doesn't matter anymore.

It's up to him to turn a delicate situation into a good one if he chooses to do so. In the meantime of course, i'll do whatever i have to do to protect my own interests......as anyone would.

People can make up their own minds if this was deliberate or not.

Though it's too bad really. It's a site i might have even promoted as it fits well with my theme. But as now, obviously, i'll be doing everything i can to contact people i know and warn them about it or just ban it outright as I have.

Just wanted to give everyone an update.

Had a conversation with Darren. As I mentioned before, regardless on his intentions, it didn't matter. I wanted to "turn a bad situation into a good one," and was happy to find out that Darren wanted that as well.

Darren plans to change the name of the site. He had no problems whatsoever on doing so.....and on top of that, without even asking me to promote his site in return.....which I did not expect at all.

I plan to promote his program regardless. It's good business. It could have been a tough problem as domain disputes are always a bad situation legally. So we both just saved a lot money and decide to make more of it instead.

So thank you Darren for the understanding and the action you took. I look forward to making us both a lot more money.

I have the domain name smut-video.com, does this mean because someone has a movie site named "smut-videos.com" that my business should be trashed because of an "s" in the domain name?

onlymovies.com is completely different than onlymoviesite.com (or whatever the site is). Are you concerned about the type-in traffic? its kind of hard to fuckup a type-in when you need to append an entire word to a domain name.

From somebody who doesn't know shit about any of it, I never heard of onlymovies.com and I could see myself innocently registering a domain that had the names "only" and "movie" in it.

There's just TOO MANY different sites out there for the average person to know of all of them off of the top of their head.
