EBT cards are the shit, my exgirlfriend had one and got $600/month on it...I used to use that shit for late night munchies at 711 all of the time...except I love energy drinks and it wouldn't pay for the energy drinks :disgust

Drove through Compton once, you're right, it really wasn't all that bad. Looked like regular suburbs to me. My uncle owns a scrap yard in Camden, New Jersey. Now THAT town is fucked up; it's just one big open-air drug market. Reminds me of Hamsterdam from The Wire.

KFC is too greasy, you eat a meal of theirs and you feel like you're gonna puke for an hour afterwards. I think they're only in the Northeast, but there's a chain called Crown Fried Chicken that's really good - for fast food chicken, at least. Nice and crispy, seasoned just right, not dripping grease. They have better side dishes, too.

Yes, I love KFC but I was driving in Compton and had to stop at Church's chicken to get the "Day time" Compton experience.

havent been to usa in a while but i recall there was a 'no hot food' policy on ebt cards. the game many hood folks would run is to buy up all the chicken and ribs at the discount grocery store with their ebt card and have weekend barbeques on the corner and sell the barbeque. asians did the same, except they shopped at their own little asian grocery stores with ebt to supply their restauraunts. but just buying hot food outright at fast food, thats a new twist. i dont think that has hit florida yet, but again im not stateside... who knows wtf is going on there

Damn. I don't spend anywhere near $600 a month on food and I eat pretty good... salmon, tuna steak, steak, plus I have a bad Red Bull habit. Still nowhere near $600.

welfare should come with strings attached, just fucking pathetic that government thinks it's ok to take hard working people's money and give it away to the dumb and the lazy to buy fast food, alcohol, lottery tickets, cigarettes/weed, overpriced brand name apparel and shoes................ those welfare cards should only be allowed to be used to pay for necessities of life.

up here we have thousands of losers who will admit to you that they don't work because the government handouts are pretty close to what they'd make working the minimum wage jobs that are only qualified for. so why bother getting up at 7 in the morning and working 8 hours when you can sleep all day, eating junk food, drinking beer, smoking pot and get paid for it. when they get their government checks they live it up, cab drivers love welfare check day, the bars the same, liquor/beer stores, whores - once they blow most of their free money they hibernate in their subsidized apartments with cable TV and Internet until the next check.

i couldn't work because i was having horrible anxiety and health issues, every doctor i saw wanted me to fill out paper work to get on the government gravy train, why not they said, you're not faking, that's what it's there for. i refused it, i'd have taken it if i had no other means to put a roof over my head or food in my stomach. meanwhile the doctors because they are paid by the government are also dinging the taxpayer with phoney billings to the tune of hundreds of millions.

it's just going to get worse and worse, each generation raised in this culture gets worse.

Yeah Camden is pretty fucked up, I would say Camden and Baltimore look worse then Compton, open air drug markets down every street in baltimore pretty much lol...I remember when someone tried to sell the old mayor drugs on penn ave. and laurens st.
