solved a big issue today
 

I use 2 machines, one for photoshop/email/browsing. the other for video editing and renders. the issue I've been having is my PS machine has corrupted bios from a bad HD capture card, i know that because the machine has been shit since i tried to get that card to run... works great now with the right card however the machine won't see the boot drive with out some major BS... so when it crashes or needs a restart I'm sweating my books and contacts plus schedules getting lost...... BUT I set quick books to save across the network every time I open the app and close it and set outlook to back up incrementally every hour across the network... what a major relief that is... i have outlook and photoshop installed on the other box already as well, so worst thing can happen is move the monitors and install QB (other than getting poisoned by chem-trails or some other creepy shit)

you're doing it all wrong.

You should be able to sovle this easily enough without panic.

get the flash utility for your motherboard and the newest bios. Unhook ur HD (just to be safe), boot and flash. Any corruption the capture card caused will be gone and as a bonus, your motherboard will be updated.

Hook the HD back up and fire it up.
