Does your brain get fried after 2 hours of blogging
what do you normally do? sometimes, i get to the point where my brain just can't blog anymore.. in addition to planning about SEO, how to get more hits, bla bla bla
|
I think one has to have some form of compulsive disorder do be really good at doing blogs for hours, weeks or years at a time, like me...
|
That's why i hire people to do it for me.

My brain do get fried, but I never stop updating until I've used up all the content I've dug up.
So a lot of times I can sit for hours doing updates eventhough my body tells me to stop. After I'm finished it's not unusual that I've managed to schedule posts for a whole year :) (1 post a week) |
I can usually do about 2 hours of blogging then I HAVE to get off the computer altogether for 15-20 mins, come back, start something else and once it's running on autopilot I jump back and do another 2 hours of blogging.
I also find it helpful to keep creative during that two hours by cranking my favorite music, having fresh coffee nearby and my favorite smokables handy. |

I usually download a tv show series like Gold Rush Alaska or something and play it in the background while I blog. I take short breaks or visit GFY and check out new threads just to get away from how tedious blogging can be.
I really need to up my work though...I buy a few domains and then spend the week developing them into blogs but in my downtime I should be making some free blogs or something. I'm doing a new little project and bought a domain that I enabled multi-wordpress on and whenever I have the time I create new subdomain blogs to add to the network...it's going great so far, Google is sending some nice traffic to the subdomain blogs so I think I'm going to create small networks like that in addition to just blogging on full domains. |

I do the same with the TV show.... watching something that requires not much attention, but is enough to keep me entertained. I can go on for hours like this.... |
What ever you do, don't jack off... it'll kill the drive...

I can blog for 6 to 8 hours just taking two or three 10 min breaks, but if i fap, well, then my blogging day is over... |

I'm not sure how spending 2-4 hours a day on blogging is not worth paying for outsourcing. For a couple of 100's per month you have a good writer who does this job for you.
You are saying your 3 hours a day is worth less than let's say 300 dollars. That would be really bad. Honestly, i don't see how you can justify writing text for 3 hours a day. Something that is so easy to outsource. And i'm not talking about a non english speaking indian either. |

Yesterday, my brain hurt so much... all of the front of my head felt like it was going to explode. That's from stress, strain, work & play, the internet's a real cool place :thumbsup

I also do the thing with the tv in the background, "watching" shit I only need my ears for. |
spice it up, switch topics up a bit, breaks....definitely throw in some mindless shit to just clear your head
|
yeah motivation drops quickly...

But, seriously, when I'm on long work binges I usually like to break every hour or two and do some shadowboxing or pushups. Working out is the perfect reset button before you start hustling again. Also: You should definitely outsource some of that work. Even if you want to write the content yourself, at least hire some VA to do all the research for you. Will make things way more efficient. |
I fucking hate writing blog posts.
