Last year at this time it was $3.24 a gallon and today it's $3.69 I remember when gas was only $1.00 a gallon.

I ride a Yamaha scooter. I spend about $3 - $5 a week if I spend a lot of time on it.

My next car will get over 30 mpg. I'm tired of my gas guzzler -- it hurts to see the price when I fill the tank.

They discontinued the Hybrid, but this one supposedly gets around 36mpg.

Every year it starts climbing about now, climbs more in the spring and summer then tops out when most people are traveling around driving a lot.

I remember when gas was less than a dollar. My grandmother, back in the 1960s, used to buy a gallon of gas for ten cents and got a Matchbox car each time she filled up her tank. She collected the entire collection for multiple years, which she gave to me. I have them all, brand new. Some of them are worth a ton.

You have a Jetta? Don't complain. I've got a twenty year old jacked up 4x4 with 33 inch tires.

While you were riding for 1 buck per gallon, most of world was paying something per 1 liter.

Oh, I should add gas is going up because of the shit with Iran. You know, because that has a huge impact on the US getting it's gas from Canada and Mexico.

I'm Scottish but live in Canada, we pay $5 a gallon here, I'm going home to Scotland next week so I'll take a picture of the rental car I booked and then a picture of how much a tank of gas costs to fill it. Let's see if $3.69 still feels like a lot of money to you then... just a heads up, in Scotland it is almost $11 a gallon.

It doesn't matter where the US gets gas from because it's a global economy. When there are supply shortages or price driven up by speculation, the entire supply chain raises the price.

i dont get it... having almost the cheapest gas on the whole planet, the cheapest prices for cars as well (ask dutch or scandinavian people about that), driving ridiculus huge useless cars (who really needs a Navigator, F150 or the like) but still complaining...

get a Passat TDI and you have enough space for the whole family and do like 55 mpg

$5 per gallon of gas here is the norm. but most people dont buy gas they have propane tanks mounted in their trunks and theres more propane stations than actual gas stations. its a more common fuel because people use it to cook with their gas stoves at home due to all the frequent power outtages

not 100% sure about UK, but it's taxed huge here in canada. Does it make a difference though? expensive is expensive.

I bought the land yacht because I pull large trailers and am constantly taking short road trips with 6 or 7 people.
I like my land yacht.
I just wish gas was 97 cents a gallon like it was when I graduated high school.
