    Members Area Webcam Shows - Platform Needed

    OK I posted this once before, sure it's also been done to death by other people... but hoping I can get some input...

    We have a bunch of girls who want to be able to do member webcam shows, as part of their interaction with their sites... in the hope of improving membership joins and also retention...

    Also hoping that this will lead to an additional revenue stream for the girls (and of course us taking a split)

    Not sure if it would be best to sign up to one of the existing webcam networks... or do it ourselves (and what may be involved with doing it ourselves... )

    Anyone got any recommendations ?

          setting it up yourself if you have a good hosting company isn't difficult UNLESS you want to be able to do private shows and tips. just need Wowza server which most adult hosting companies have and chatroom software. Wowza is only 50 dollars a month.

          Dooglas and Mumblez from NNM have a cam network, YourDailyCams, for members only camshows.

          CamWithHer/SNR who also posts on NNM has a camshow widget you can put in your members areas - you use their system and your girls can do private shows, SNR takes their cut.
          I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

                      Just to clarify... and I guess we're hoping for a lot here...

                      We're looking to be able to offer webcam shows for our members firstly...

                      Secondly we would like the girls to then be able to offer 1-2-1 shows...

                      And lastly (optional) be able to tap into a network of people... I guess this is only approapriate if we dont do it ourselves...

                          I'm also curious in webcam software. We are using I'm Live software right now... But want a better "Different" set-up.

                                  Not exactly... we want to be able to give the members of each site 2 webcam shows a week by the relevent girl free... so like 2 1 hour shows...

                                  If the girl then gets offered 1-2-1 shows then that's a bonus for us and her... and yes the 1-2-1 shows would be paid...

                                  We did have a run on one of the networks with one of our girls... but in fairness by the time they took their split it didnt really leave a great per minute rate for the model and us...

                                  There's a lot of hype about girls earning shit loads, but I really dont get how... unless they're firing fireworks out there ass guys just seem to grab the free stuff... hey it's just like porn

                                  I guess we'll take a look at some of the platforms out there... but I guess it's going to be hard to find all we want... maybe time to hire ourselves a russian programmer and get it done custom I guess

                                      We went to streamate for the members area shows and it has been a win / win. Members are happy, models are very happy.

                                      It is not uncommon for them to earn $200 during a one hour members only show.

                                      I'd like to make $200 / hr.

                                                                              Wow did I fuck that up. we are using Video Whisper not I'm Live. I'm sure the program would be fine If I could find a good programmer to go in and set everything up the way I want.

                                                                                      You can run the stream via Flash. Pricing is pretty reasonable too.

                                                                                      Should be straight forward setting an interface for it too. Then you would just run another script for the text chat for members.

                                                                                                                      I have been doing this on my site since 1997 and for a time, even let others webcam girls use my video/chat servers. shoot me an email and I can go over some different setups you can use that will cost you tons less then anything you will get on here. Dont spend big money on something so simple. Shoot me an email and I will give you some software tips...its not my stuff so I am not getting anything from it... [email protected]
