Who's Buying A Playstation Vita ???
 

I'll be picking mine up at 10am tomorrow :) I traded in my old PSP with a pile of games and I paid for it, along with a game, so it's not costing me anything, just an upgrade :) I can't wait, should be interesting.

I'd like to get one, but gonna wait till its $200. I still have a ton of games on my PSP that I haven't even played.

Do they use those same junk discs?

Nope, they use cartridges that look simular to SD memory cards.

I got mine already.

Got virtual tennis 4, a golf game, and a couple others.

Its decent. Hard to really carry around another device to compete with my ipad in my murse

PrOphet, I actually considered the Hot Shots Golf, but since I've got the PS3 versions, I figured it wouldn't be much new, but nice to have a portable version.

I can't wait to play Uncharted, I got that one and despite it's so-so reviews, "Army Corps Of Hell", and lastely, I got the download code for "Escape Plan", which looks really neat.

I was just reading about it. I thought it would be a phone and tablet aswell.

It's actually got like Playstation 3 graphics power in the palm of your hand. The neat thing is that you can pause your PS3 (with some, but not all games), then pick up your Vita and continue playing with it, which is awesome.

There's one version that also comes with 3G, BUT it's not for real time online gameplay when you use it, it's mainly for turned based games or checking stuff online. Both versions do have built in Wi-Fi though.

I don't buy anything Asian that sounds Mexican...

I think it is going to be a big flop. Not many people will pay $40 for a game if you can play games for a $1 or for free on your phone

I guess it is worth buying as a collectors item... the way smartphones and tablets are going i don't see them making anymore devices like this as the market is shifting in a new direction! :2 cents:

app games on phones do not compare to real games. the amount of data alone is vastly differing. batteries drain way too fast, phone gets hot etc... not made for gaming but hopefully this can and will improve but not at this time.

some barely have a few levels and present no real challenge. i like gravity guy though LOL

I still have my PSP.

It's handy as hell for flights. Both for games and watching UMD movies. Apart from that though, i never use it.

I might see how much i can get for my psp and all my games before spending another £200 on another handheld console...

I read somewhere the battery life on the Vita sucks too. Wonder how bad it is...

Never liked PSP handing at ALL. DS has always been better but I'll go to best buy and peep it out
