Its like a big board of chicks sharing stupid pictures like they do on facebook... But more dedicated to the pic part...

Enlighten me please

Once you open the 'pin', yes it's a picture...but you click the picture and typically it's linked to a blog post or shopping page. It's like a big site where you organize and publicly share your bookmarks.
Based on how fast shit I've pinned...gets repinned & boards followed, seems like it could be used as one helluva marketing tool to drive traffic to blogs.

Yeah I was pretty certain from hearing my wife talk about ur so much its prwtty much another site fir women to rub one out to. Lol

It taps into what women like - vanity. Then pinterest will begin selling ad space / pins. It's just a super clever way of making everything seem like a recommendation but it's an advertisement to women. Makeup, nailpolish etc.
