Lab grown meat - I hate the idea of eating animals but I just love meat. This will be perfect.

Question is, will it taste the same? It might look the same in the end, but flavor wise who know.

Where will they get the blood from?

I think it is going to taste even better when they master the technology

disgusting. if eating meat upsets you because an animal has to die them become a vegetarian. this is just a sad mockery.

OK - You will never get a good fillet steak this way, but if it makes a passable Big Mac or a high protein meal for the poor then whats the problem?

As they said in the article it could be much more efficient - Thats going to be important as the population gets higher....

The fact that it is obviously more humane to produce is a bonus for some of us wanna be vegetarians as well.

It'll be horrible. It already exists. Its nasty. Its like eating very tender, tasteless rubber.

If it doesn't walk around, or breathe, or have blood pumping through its veins; it will be bad. Unless its a fish or a plant.

You can't make food in a lab. You might want to argue about that, but you won't eat it.
