Struth. Welcome to the club. I've switched my mouse from side to side so many times both my wrists are permanently fooked.

I think I've got carpal tunnel in my ass, neck, back, and both eyes too.

Hmmm... even though I've been a full time nerd for many years now, I have never had any problems of this kind.
Working out daily helps, I think.

You get a kink in your mouse wrist, and a deep soreness that begins to spread up into your hand. I once had it so bad in my right hand that two of my fingers were begining to lose dexterity.

About 2 years ago I switched the mouse over to the left side and kept it there for 8 months while my right hand and wrist healed up. That was hard trying to teach my left hand to work.... and try editing a few hundred images or make good graphics with your 'wrong' hand. I'm telling you, it was a challenge.

yeah, but besides that... if i get it, i'm worried i wont be able to jerk off anymore... this left hand of mine is pretty useless

My father has carpal tunnel syndrom and had to have surgery to fix/help it.

I switch different shapes of mouses once in a while since the first time I had it.

I just ordered one! :thumbsup I started to have trouble with carpal tunnel back when I worked as a nail technician -- my hand would get cold, my ring finger and pinky would be absolutely numb, and the pain radiated up my arms like a toothache, deep down in the center of the meat.

This last week, I've made nine galleries, submitted by hand, and I was starting to get that coldness in my right hand again. I keep stopping work to run hot water over my hand. Hope this new vertical mouse thingamawhatsit will help. Looks 133t. :1orglaugh

Don't mess with Carpal Tunnel syndrom, it can get so bad that you can't use your hands for anything.

I've had it and have been to treatment for it, electric shocks to my wrist. Not all that fun :)

It's really important to stretch your fingers several times during a normal workday.
