To me the world is different now. Facebook replaced bitching on the porch at a friends house about your parents. The kid may bitch about the chores but if she is doing them and doing what she has to do in school. This is ego to shoot up her laptop. Next time I bet she will hide her posting so they wont know what she is doing.

its a display of aggression towards his daughter. is it really that hard to see? i know you got beat as a kid because that was normal back then but that doesn't mean we should continue the cycle of violence to our children. taking away the laptop or even giving it away wouldn't of had the same violent overtones or the same wow factor but it would of been the much more responsible thing to do.

parents demand so much 'respect' for simply doing what the law states they must do when bringing a life into this world. if respect is just a one way street for you, don't expect your kids to ever truly respect you rather expect lip service.
