I dont have a floppy drive installed but needed to use one to setup win2k for raid drivers.

It isn't a great idea to do this until the schools have CD burners standard for every computer, which won't be for a while yet.

when was the last time you used a floppy for anything other than a coaster or an object to throw at someone .

long time here.. dont think this PC has ever been penetrated by a floppy .

You've never updated your BIOS, required a hardware driver when installing an OS, or needed to boot to DOS to wipe/clone a drive?

i'm going to hoard floppy drives to sell at insanely high prices to unix admins! how ever will i install FreeBSD without a floppy drive? does this mean i have to learn how to make bootable cdroms to do ftp installs? crap.
