Thats a pretty fast move by the Air Force. The FAA just authorized commercial airlines to replace their charts with the iPad in December.

they should wait a month when the new one comes out.

I was thinking the same thing. Although after the new ones come out, they can probably get v.2 at a larger discount.

oh the shit they spend for military. when we did the oil spill i learned first hand the billions wasted by those at the top.... was reading the other day about how military in iraq play warcraft while people think they actually fighting in a war,.. military is a joke nowadays, i say that with multiple family members served in iraq and afghanistan on multiple tours, one cousin been there for 3 years. he tells me everything... especially about the hookers and beer LOL

I was reading an article a couple of weeks ago about building contractors in Iraq charging the government 200$ a piece for electrical receptacles, 300$ for single sticks of pvc conduit, 500$ for sheets of drywall, just outrageous prices. And nobody even questioned it or looked at the invoices, they just signed off on the shit. And out of all the companies to support they pick Apple, who manufactures their shit in Chinese sweatshops. They should have Apple open up a plant in the states to build all of those laptops.
