Last night i watched Twilight the first time and..
 

..i shall be damned if there weren't any better vampire flix before. "The Lost Boys" comes to mind, as well as "Shadow of the Vampire" or "Nosferatu".



I mean, really.. perhaps i'm getting old but *every* fucking new (1999+) movie i see today has been done before - and better.

What's a really GOOD "new" movie? Please tell me

Twilight looks like an absolute chick flick. No interest in that what so ever.

I watched The Lost Boys again a few days ago. I used to remember that movie was the shit when I was a pre-teen. I must say it kinda sucks nowadays.

yea, as a teenager it kicked ass though... i even bought the soundtrack lawl.

You made the mistake of thinking Twilight is a vampire movie.

If you think there's no good movies, then you just watch whatever is shoveled down your throat, and you're not bothering to look deeper. There was the same discussion in a "heavy metal" thread. It's like there's always going to be people complaining that popular culture sucks, when its better than its ever been. There's tons of great TV, Movies, music and video games. Don't complain because you can't find something to like.
