He's also very humble (relatively rare in sports nowadays)-always gives credit first and foremost to his team and names team members for acclaim. He tries to deflect praise away from himself and directs it to his teammates.

He is also a devout Christian and would like to be a pastor someday.

Definitely a breath of fresh air and quite an inspiration.

You know when I first saw this thread I thought to myself.. "Great another ''Tebow' like fascination with a young player.." But the difference is this guy has skills unlike Tebow haha

this guy has talent and the knicks need a player like him. he helps the other guys stay in their true roles. will be interesting when melo comes back. but enjoy the ride for now! :)
