Crazy how your body can just break on you.
About a week and a half ago on Sunday afternoon I was just relaxing and reading a book when I got a bloody nose. I got it to stop then 20 minutes later it started back up. This time I couldn't get it to stop. 2 hours later I was on my to the hospital. I was covered in blood, had swallowed a ton of blood which was making me sick so I was puking it back up and nearly choking on it.
The doctor got it to stop and sent me home. A few hours later it started again. This time it was worse than before. There was so much blood in my throat it was hard to breathe and I was starting to get light headed. I was freaking out. To make a long story short they found that I had a blood vessel burst in the back of my throat just above the vocal chords. They had to do surgery to stop the bleeding and repair the damage and I was in the hospital for a few days then basically out of commission for about a week from pain killers and general illness from all of this.
It is crazy how out of nowhere something can happen that causes you serious issues and could even be life threatening.
