Yes, definitely worth seeing. I've been there in the summer a few times, can't stand the winters lol

If you go in the summer definitely plan a few days in the very south (Italian border) and check out the area around Lugano. I'd also suggest renting a car and drive over the old mountain passes back to the North - lovely nature, many small villages, etc.

Have a good trip :)

Long time ago as a summer holiday with my family. Stayed at Interlaken.

Had a travel pass that I think covered most trains, lifts, buses, and the lake boats.

Can only remember a few things.

Bears in pits along one of the roads beside Lake Thun.

Lunch at Piz Gloria the revolving mountain-top restaurant out of one of the James Bond films.

Going up inside a mountain in a train and then walking around inside a glacier.

Clean air :)

I've been to Interlaken and Saas Fee, Interlaken definitely better, not much to do in Saas Fee. Worth to go, but very pricey!

I've been to Interlaken and would recommend that area. It's beautiful. When the Swiss make things, they make them to last. Really enjoyed my visit. It was during January, so the skiing was excellent. Completely different from skiing in the US. Much more challenging.

Oh, it was beautiful. Wake up early in the morning, have chocolate for breakfast (so not kidding), take a train two hours up hill.... Ski down ALL DAY LONG. There were little restaurants along the way.

Came back to the US, forty minutes in line, ten minutes up hill, five minutes down, fuck that - I never went skiing again.

There's this cool thing called the internet now. You can book your own holidays without being ripped off by a travel agent.

Yeah, I forgot about those little restaurants on the mountain. I wasn't used to European skiing, I got to the top and fell down the mountain to the first one, had a beer and continued falling down to the next one till I got to the bottom and ended up in a little village skiing down main street. What a blast!
