How big is Valentines day for sales & for the content?

I'm sure lots do...I guess it depends on how your network or websites are setup though. I do all blogs though and I don't usually bother promoting xmas or valentines day stuff on them.

I'm sure if you had your wife do some Valentine stuff you could probably do well with it...seems like sologirl sites would rock with that.

Yeah Jesus H... I never thought of that kind of area for sales, but wow, most definitely a high selling point! We've had a cpl of military lads, mail Natalie when they were members, it was nice for them to have a certain girl to speak to, check out her new scenes every week & mail occasionally.
Especially Valentines day, that's when all guys want to have that special someone :thumbsup

The sex toy blogs that I write for have been building up their content for about a month now, although this is their push time of the year. I've got Valentine's Day articles and product descriptions coming out my eyeballs.

The fetish and niche sites - not so much. Just the occasional girl-in-red-leather type of thing.

Is it the single guys and girls or relationships with presents you aim for?

I would have thought with toys & clothing, it would be the man for wife & vice versa rather than the single guy. With paysites, I think the single man is more the appropriate sale.

The toy sites are definitely targeting the guy in a relationship with a woman, and the lesbian couple. For the blogs, though, it's been a lot of pieces for the single woman - quite a few articles on how to pick up guys, ways to spend the day if you're single, that kind of thing.

Paysites are for the guys, for sure - single or not.

Question... hearing "quite a few articles on how to pick up guys".. Is this directed at over 18's or do you keep it on adult for 16 yr olds... I can imagine another niche here.

For future reference, I bet under 18s are interested in this, even teens. To keep it mature but non porn, this could be a very effective tutor service. You could make a little money our of membership to a non adult, but teen site.. speaking truthfully as does the magazine seventeen :thumbsup
