Blog Traffic Solution
 

So I've been working hard trying to build up a small blog network. I started a discussion on my progress here: http://m.gfy.com/showthread.php?&t=1026884
I've been able to build but now I need to focus on traffic as well. I've submitted to directories but that is only an initial traffic increase until I moved to page two of the directories. Are there any suggestions you can give for generating more traffic? I do have a link spun account. I don't have any traffic trades right now. Any advice would be very much appreciated! Linkspun helps you with linkbuilding more than with traffic, but if you have a network you can get lots of baclinks there and the traffic will buil up with time.

i stay away from dirs, hate giving them backlinks

Seo in terms of what tho? You must be optimizing something in order to rank.... A blog, a tube, a tgp etc.

Your directory listings may get higher rankings with time. Build up your links by increasing the number of links pointing to your site. Try to get higher PR sites linking to you.

Try to get trades at linkspun. Te more incoming links you have to yor sites, the better google will rank them.

Work like a dog. This is required at the begining, try to update your blogs as frequently as you can ...
Is a fact, despite what others will tell you, google loves sites that update a lot and sends them lots of traffic.

One random suggestion: If you want a bunch of traffic, use your blog domain and make a few galleries, either regular FHG style or nice gallery blog post, then submit to The Hun for great traffic and some sales.

If you have a small network, add a lot of content to your new blog and get links to it quickly. Make it look like it's hit the ground running.

Yeah, but that has such a negative impact on the bounce rate. It's best to use a separate domain for the hun and just include linkbacks to your other sites.

PlugRush will enable you to multiply your initial traffic while also making money in the process...

directories are good for backlinks of your blogs1... then from blogs1 you send traffic and links to blogs2...

90% of my blog traffic comes from SEARCH ENGINES..

that is the best part of blogs, you don't need to rely on anyone or on any shitty traffic trading, that traffic SUCKS BIG TIME...

ask yourself, do your sites deserve traffic? are they full of compelling content and a great reason for a surfer to visit and spend time enjoying? or are they shitty sites that you should feel sorry for wasting the time of the 10 surfers that did happen to visit your site today? that, and patience, or giving up are your answers :2 cents:
