Other than IP address and cookies what else can a site identify you by? A pirate forum has banned me and I've changed IP addresses and cookies and they still seem to be able to identify me.

Most likely a flash cookie, but what is the forum ?

Try using a different browser (as well as different IP), if they're still banning you, its definitely not a cookie tracking you. But like stated above, its likely a flash based cookie.

There is a proggie called cclean or something that is supposed to be able to clear all cookies, flash etc. real fast so you can go back after a ban.

damn, been reading up on 'super cookies' all day - these are evil, nobody has found a way to block them. steve jobs hated Flash, looks like he made the right move. do some reading on them, wouldn't surprise me if some major cookie stuffing operators are using them. lots of plugins and software to find them and delete them but nothing to block them.
