Hey what's the best stuff you've found out there to scan with. Computer is behaving badly...

Running Search & Destroy and Malwarebytes anti malware right now...

Use http://www.sandboxie.com/ and you won't ever have to scan for malware.

I suggest you change your DNS servers to point to OpenDNS. (www.opendns.org)... then register your IP with them and under "blocked categories" click ads and malware if they have it. The absolute best thing I've found for Anti-malware is: Kaspersky

If you're still using internet explorer, switch to Google Chrome.

I also have a PFsense router with SNORT IDS and it's also configured to pull IP address black lists every few hours and block those as well. I block all Russian Business Network IP's.

With that being said, I don't ever have any malware issues and don't even run antivirus on a routine basis. I scan once in awhile but it never finds anything.

Also when it comes to commercial anti virus program,i refuse to use any of them because their business model it's like mafia extortion-you need to pay them fee every year if you want to be protected.
And that protection is not perfect,so you can still have mayor damage regardless of what paid antivirus you using.
