July 2000 - email from an old friend

hey man its kevin again, dorm life is great, however i just pledged myself to the Delta Upsilon fraternity, so i dont know how long it will be b4 i move into the frat house. could be a year or it could be a month. but i have met a lot of people on campus. i think i have partyed more the couple of weeks i have been here than i have my entire life. its awsome. DU is takin a trip to tampa this weekend and we are stayin in a DU brother's
penthouse while we are there. he goes to USF. we'll hit Ybor City, the beach, and go to a devil ray/expo game while we are there. but thats how excitin college has been so far. got a new girlfriend, irene, though she is pretty paranoid about this whole frat deal, i cant say that i blame her. as far as work goes i am gonna wait till fall comes around ( man those fall students dont know what the hell they are missin not comin to summer term). but ill talk at ya later. keep emailin me to let me whats goin up with you guys, tell eric i said hey.

I have a text copy of an email I got in 1998 when I posted on a crack newsgroup asking for a crack and bill gates sent it to me. I don't think it was a phoney..it was too verbal and the language wasn't script kiddie talk. But ya never know..It's a kewl conversation piece anyway..
