Regular vpn vs. btguard..??

Trying to see if I have this right... a VPN will be a new internet connection or bridge, and any program on my computer connecting to my ISP/The internet will go through the vpn so EVERYTHING gets rerouted/proxied and encrypted.... right

So can I use a VPN and also use BtGuard? BtGuard is just a regular Socks5 proxy, but nice and fast, right????

Also, if Russian VPNs are so good... which one is a good one that is fast???

Can I use two vpns? Like this, get a russian one and a canadian one and connect like this

Through the canadian one to the russian one to my isp and out?
The vpns obviously support the encrypted connection, I guess?

Yes about the VPN but I know nothing about btguard.

VPNs tunnel traffic everything is encrypted. I always found the clients to be a pain in the ass. If you use for example, cisco box to cisco box then i works ok since you dont have to connect and reconnect all the time. But surfing the web is slower like a proxy. You can also setup split tunneling to connect to different LANS

IP's are also use NAT

I signed up for btguard vpn service.. but I don't think I installed it right

In network and sharing center, it says it's connected to multiple networks.. It has my wireless connection (my straight internet connex on this pc) and a new local area connection (as if it were a regular ethernet connection) and that one says no internet access

It has the icons up there where all three usually light up

Usually I have MY PC - MY WIFI CONNECTION - GREEN WORLD

Now I have MY PC - MULTIPLE NETWORKS - RED X - GREYED OUT WORLD

Is that normal?

I do have a netherlands IP now but I thought btguard was canada by default?

BTguard is slow and it sucks
Unless I'm doing something wrong

Best I could get down was 2mb after using config files to try alternate servers

Just get a cheap dedi box or vps hosted in NL, install openvpn and be done with it.

BTGuard proxy is OK, I get about 2 MB/s. I rather use a proxy than a VPN..

I have good and cheap VPN accounts with 11 locations including: US, UK, Sweeden, Czech and Slovakia...
