What sort of speeds are realistic on 3G in the UK?

i am not sure of the speed, but when i used it, it was ok to load websites.

but not sure how it would be to stream films.

its at least half the speed of broadband i think.

but..

these days many people seem to only be on the net via a phone. its why i think facebook has problems as so many just use facebook aps. and to be honestif this gots more people onto mobile net, facebook has problems.
