They certainly aren't hiding the fact, are they. No fine print for them.

Funny too, because they really didn't change much, just used clearer language to specifically say that parts of Google share information, rather than say having the preferences you set while on Gmail ignored on Google maps.

As I was reading the preview of it and noticing the plethora of links to ancillary documentation, I thought about printing hard copies of every page including all supporting and linked documents. But I decided against having so many trees cut down just so I could go "holy shit thats a lot to read".

But yeah, when you do a search it pops up, if you go to youtube it pops up, it comes in the email.. I'm surprised I havent had icq pop up from 'google' linking me to the new privacy policy. Hell of a job getting the word out.

i'm sure it has nothing with the ftc increasing their investigations and pressure on google.
