Discount for Veterans on cell phone plans
 

All military service veterans of the United States are eligible for subject discount on their monthly wireless bill. To apply visit a corporate Verizon Wireless Store and ask for discount 117818 under Gov Employee. You will need a copy of discharge papers when you apply.



It's a 15% discount for life, call 1-800-922-0204. I just got off the live chat at verizon to verify, it doesn't apply to unlimited voice.

There's a huge list of businesses here that give discounts to public sector workers - applies to their families too.
