Paysite owners, software vs hand submit for tubes?
 

I've been talking with a few others lately about tube submits with other paysite owners.

Is it better to use submission software or do hand submits for tubes?

we hand submit - would love a great software that allowed multiple site submits easily

How many tubes are you submitting to?

I Have TSS (TubeSitesSubmitter.com) but am not sold on how well it works for partner accounts. Its a great tool for affiliates, but I haven't been able to figure out the right way to use it as a paysite owner.

My hunch is that autosubmitting software out there are not nearly mature enough to be a serious option.
we submit several promos to a dozen or so tubes everyday, all manually. I would love to automate, if it were possible.

I don't think it's entirely all that possible since various tubes have very much different requirements.

Different tagging system, description requirements, content requirements etc.

Thanks guys. TSS seems to work off automated MACROS and does have an option for manual submit that just pre-fills the forms for you and you can eddt what is needed. Thats where I am torn.

If not using a submitter software, how are you keeping track of what was submitted to each site?

hand submit, never found a piece of software that i really felt worked as i wanted it to...

we use a custom script to do that.
every promo goes through:
1. tagging done by "taggers" who add titles etc.
2. uploaders who do the monkey job (sorry, uploaders). it gets then marked as "uploaded" for that specific tube.
3. every video is then checked on each tube after some days for successfull realease. it the gets marked as 'checked'.

I use form auto fill pro.
I modify the title/description/tags with the batch mode tool.

Sharky - do you upload full length videos to tubes?

Not sure the best way to approach it.

My guess is no.

for hand submitters, how do you update yourself with the list of tube sites?
