Paypal account is suspended for Oron.com

http://oron.com/premium.html

Click paypal, enjoy :)

Thanks to all of you guys who were sending letters to paypal this week, I know many did and them disabling oron account shows the power of the community which we all grossly underestimate.

I don't know for how long this ban will last, but today is the great day for all of us anyway :)

I never had much of a problem with megaupload specifically, but the ripple effect on the other fileshare sites brought us one of our best weeks ever this week. For 3-4 days after MU went down, I did not have to send a single DMCA. The pirates are starting to push back now, though. They are all scrambling to find fileshares who ignore DMCA.

One of them wrote today in response to how quickly I've been able to our latest updates taken down, "The French host partage-facile.com doesn't seem to respond to any DMCA takedown requests."

This was a host, I have not had to deal with, yet, so will be interesting to see how this plays out.

porno jew 01-27-2012 06:16 PM

i can see that. solo girls seem to one of the worst hit by file lockers.

While I don't want to be negative about the situation as it's a good one but what percent of their transactions do you think are via paypal and how many of those couldn't use their credit card instead?

For some reason, I tend to think the percentage is extremely low but I could be wrong and I hope I am. If they don't have access to a credit card, they wouldn't even be potential paysite subscribers

EukerVoorn 01-27-2012 07:11 PM

Next step is taking down their Visa/MC account. So anyone who has a credit card, purchase an account at Oron and then complain to your bank about the charge, say that you thought you were paying for downloads of Walt Disney cartoons for your kids but ended up being confronted with scat and bestiality porn :-)

How many people want to give their credit card details to some Russian scum bag? They must be really stupid.

For european hosts, don't send DMCA's. That's an american law and doesn't apply here. Look up EUCD.

site up with new design "Welcome To The New Improved Oron 2.0" with a graphic of what looks like a DMCA notice going into a paper shredder with some russian symbols on the shredder. :Oh crap

DWB 01-28-2012 01:48 AM

I know a handful of people who have been hitting them relentlessly since Megaupload went down and involving paypal. Looks like it paid off.

Especially guys in the TS niche. Well done fellas.

Slappin Fish 01-28-2012 02:09 AM

Lets' hope it stays down. Slashed revenue, huge bandwidth bill, if they don't get reinstated there is no way they can keep paying affiliates as much as they have, they're fucked:2 cents:

Once it's confirmed and dusted we should concentrate on depositfiles.

Actually a lot since majority or people will never risk exposing their CC info to some cheeky host full of pirated stuff. Would you risk your own CC there when you have PP option?
A lot of lost rebills for Oron, not sure if they will be able to handle such loss.

Don't underestimate the stupidty of people. People are really stupid, unsavvy and will enter their CC details anywhere.

On top of that, a lot of people have their CC tied into their Paypal account so it can still be directly charged.

I agree. I'd never give them my cc. Without the PayPal rebills they might be in trouble.

Edit: I see they tried to make the payment page look just like PayPals.

OneHungLo 01-28-2012 02:48 AM

Time to hit Visa, Mastercard and American Express :2 cents:

If it was truth our sales would be through the roof... ppl had their cards banged by shady sites so many times, they are scared to death to use their CC online, to them giving their CC info is worse then unprotected sex with a transsexual whore in the Amsterdam harbor ;)

Hit ALL of them still using Paypal.

Paypal now wants you to fill out a form so make sure you use it so they have everything they need to act.

Funny that the post I made here with the link to that PayPal form is somehow gone.

DarkJedi 01-28-2012 03:33 AM

The were probably paying a lot of the uploaders by PayPal, so that gotta hurt.

How else do fileshares pay uploaders? Wires? (doubtful)

This is a war and will not be one with one battle being won or lost. The pressure must be kept up until PP say, we can't risk it. Or Visa tell them not to process for these sites.

That would be odd and worrying at the same time.

Search all your posts, it has to be in there somewhere.

search those 400+ tube sites for something like Woodman Casting you won't find more than a couple videos, nothing that can keep a fan going for long.

but look here : http://planetsuzy.org/t459750-p134-w...d-updates.html

you get 134 page worth of full length woodman videos.

Tubes wouldn't keep a would be woodman customer from signing up. that thread would.

I haven't produced any bestiality porn for 6 years, in 2005 my pitbull had to be put asleep after attacking a model who refused to do a shoot with him.

It's Woodman's own fault. He thinks he's God and doesn't need the help of others. Now he's crying on his board about the piracy all the time and the people reading on there and supporting him are probably the same who download all his videos for free from the file lockers. Usually porn actors with big penisses aren't the most intelligent men.

Was just an example of the content that can be found on file sharing sites vs tubes. couldn't care less about the man himself.

That crackdown will come sooner or later. And I'm talking about the one where all of us are exposing children to explicit pornography and doing so with no age verification. Maybe not today, maybe not this year, but sooner or later that bitch slap is going to come out of nowhere.

I try to go by whatever format they have listed at the bottom of their site: report abuse, DMCA, etc then fill it out to their exact specs. Quite a bit of them have faux forms and pages up that look like they are there for legit purposes, but if you actually try to send something they ignore it, or the form doesn't work...

Partage-facile.com has, since yesterday, took down their repost abuse link after I sent my notice.

The idiot is hosted in France lol. Just contact his host ebsd.net and I'm pretty sure your links will go down in an eyeblink, probably with the site itself.
