why is the speech command function named after Tom Cruz's kid??? siri, suri... wtf???

No idea, but Apple didn't come up with the name. They just bought existing tech and incorporated into the iPhone.

lol..well, Gweneth Paltrow named her kid Apple. So, I guess it evens out.
