from what I read those aren't just simple shockwave animations, the gal was completely rendered in Maya and Lightwave3D...

yeah, thats totally the work of 3d modelling programs like maya. all the animation was prolly done soley in Maya or lightwave (or whatever equinox mentioned), and was just imported into flash.
