Tomorrow is my first of three appointments and hope to have my hollywood smile within 3 weeks :-)

Anyone here had it done to their teeth?

Two of my teeth are veneers (more like crowns, but that's what they called them).

was it real painful?

its not too bad, Biz... just be sure to get the nO2 gas treatment..!

the trick to nO2 is... instead of breathing in and out into the nosepiece like they tell you, draw in deeply and hold it, and discreetly blow it out of your mouth slowly instead of exhaling into the nosepiece. this way, you get purer gas and get that 'waa-waa' feeling, veneers and crowns can be fun to get! :thumbsup

Nahh.. but I have a high pain threshold. Once she was doing a filling that seemed deeper than she originally thought. She kept asking me if it was hurting as she was drilling. No anesthesia and I wasn't about to stop and wait for some.

There's different types of veneers tho.. my two are full caps or crowns.. they cover my entire original tooth. These days they to some that are thin 'fronts'.
