    Is there a call or need for Porn Script Writers

    I know a friend of mine who use to write scripts for porn.

    Is there a call for porn scriptwriters ?

    thinking of uploading them to a site and letting company's buy them

              You are proposing a idea that makes a lot of sense, and for that reason it will
              never happen in this biz.

              Change the angel, say that you will steal the scripts for porn movies on request.
              That will probably get you some clients.

                      Porn scenes without a real script are so 1980s. It was easier then with less competition. Today with so much available, if you want to sell has to be better.

                      Mos porn buyers have a bunch of favorite fantasies, play them out and it stimulates them to buy. Play the same fantasy out time after time on the same site and eventually it loses appeal and can become boring.

                      I shot one scene from Manwin. Girl playing herself going to work, as a porn model. Relating to the viewer. Then going through her show all the time teasing the fuck out of the viewer to a few climaxes. Then at the end shooting her panting and sweating to show it was all for real. Nothing hard or difficult about that. Cherry will tell you how bad it was.

                      On the Tube it was given away for free on, votes were good. In fact very good.

                      So why isn't it done more often? Shooters have to churn out to many in a day for too little money, models not bothered and shooters not able to motivate them.

                      Some sites get it right, some don't. Your conversions and retention ratios will tell you which ones.

                              Some of you guys are failing to recognize that there's still a number of studios who still shoot full length features with *GASP* stories. And I don't mean parodies, though they need script writers, too. The problem is that these companies already have their "go-to" writers, and I think it's pretty hard to break through that barrier, unless you write and shoot your own stuff and it catches their eye.

                              I actually tried to go down this route years ago, before I really got into the industry in the capacity I am now. I got Vivid's office number, and a receptionist hooked me up with Paul Thomas' direct office number. I called several times, left a couple of messages offering to write some original screenplays. Never heard back. That's life.

                              Good luck to your friend, though.

                                      plenty of porn still uses scripts, and yes.

                                      i worked in porn valley for a long time with some top studios and just because the guys fil,ming crack heads in motels dont use scripts, the bigger more funded projects clearly have more production.

                                      i mean, most porn shoots dont even have a make up artist, whil.e some have multiple. it depends on quality of picture and shoot director.

                                      i have a few friends who have been doing scripts for like 20 years now

                                          Ultimately it comes down to budgets and caring. Very few people today put a lot of either into the product. At a time when that's what separates site A from site B, other than traffic, it's disappointing.

                                          Porn scenes don't always need elaborate scripts. They need original ideas. Most of them are just the same scenes over and over.

                                          I can come up with different scenarios all the time. This was the skill of guys like Buttman, Ben Dover and others. They gave us a reason they were fucking each other. And not the same reason time after time after time. How many times can a site play out the same intro before it becomes boring? Assuming they have an intro.

                                          Doesn't need a "script" all it takes is a bit of money and caring.

                                              I hear ya. I worked for VCA and have been on sets of some of the biggest porn productions including Michael Ninn vids etc this type of production cannot be compared to a guy getting his cock sucked in a van lol
