I take Zoloft & about the first 6 - 8 months it seemed impossible to bust a nut.

yeap that is a probelm with paxil

holy shit yes, i'm on effexor now and not that much trouble. takes a little more effort to get "in the mood" but once there it's all normal it seems.

fuck paxil sucked.

i have like panic attacks but they dont come often i dunno why hes loading me up on meds

i don't even know if i need it anymore though. doesn't seem to help much.

with paxil it takes forever to get a hardon

like i said my shit is real mild - usually brought on by lack of sleep. its a vicious circle because sometimes im too anxious to go to sleep or i force myself to stay up, therefore i make myself more anxious and yadda yadda

ive only been into the effexor a week now so i dunno when/if im going to see results. as far as the studies show, i guess its pretty effective.

Paxil will do that...almost any Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) has that as a side affect, like prozac for example...goes away with time (or so they say :)

But yes very common side affect....

I take Nardil and MAOI and couldn't orgasm for 4 months !

No problem shooting a load, just takes longer to get it up.

It takes a couple weeks for it to get into your system & start producing results.

on the chart of anti-depressants and related drugs i don't think a single one came out with zero sexual side effects.

pretty lame, especially if you're taking it for depression.

now you can go out and meet some hot bitches but when you get them in the sack you're depressed because you have to fake bustin a nut.

Having had sex with a fair number of girls with issues, let me say that yes, Paxil effects girls the same way--they cannot climax.

Back pre my diagnosis with ADHD, they put me on Prozac.

I stayed hard but couldn't cum when I was on it.

My girlfriend at the time would have done ANYTHING to get me off.

That's a common side effect of paxil. Took me a month to be able to come. Fuck, going from 4 times a day to nothing sucked.
I am on effexor now, little/no sexual side effects, but it gives me HORRID other side effects. Went I went on it, for 2 1/2 weeks my head felt like it was going to spode. and if I miss two doses, it comes back.... One thing that went well with paxil... pot ;) Try it, I tried it once my body was used to it and FUCK do you get your sex drive back and then some!

Im on methadone. Now at 130mg a day. It's real fucking hard to bust one because of the strong narcotic. I can also stay hard but just can't shoot normally. It's almost like my body is UNABLE to orgasm. They told me it would do this too when I started taking it. Ah well.

Switch to Wellbutrin, no sexual side effects.

Yeah, I took Paxil for a long time, about 9 months, and I couldn't have an orgasm at all. Not only that, but I didn't even *care*. I didn't care that I couldn't come, and I didn't feel like fucking.

I take Effexor now, and I don't have any problems with it. :thumbsup

You should try Serzone. I took it before and it made me severely horny...just couldn't take the other side effects.

take a pill for depression and then u can't get it up cuz of the meds which must be depressing... sounds like the beginning of a vicious circle.

i have a friend that's taking some 325mg of effexor a day.... seems to help but it seems like a lot

although i did care when i TRIED. but the drive was dampered severely.

Damn, we're all medicated... Well, I've been happily on the Wellbutrin for half a year :) No side effects, really.

Fuck, there must be! Zoloft here. Lowered my drive and takes longer to get a hard on and bust a nut. Zoinks was right-smoking some weed gets the drive back. Viagra will put some starch in that fucker.

dude on Nardil..............wtf? why are you on Nardil? Oh my god i was on that drug like 15 years ago, it is a really old drug, and has tons of side effects. All these newer drugs the SSRI 's replaced it.

And there is a definite connection between adult webmastering and people with anxiety or depression. I wouldn't have been online, in fact i doubt i'd even have had a computer, if i didn't have anxiety attacks.

and weed is HORRIBLE if you have anxiety attacks. in fact my weed usage was a precursor to my first panic attacks.

i used to go to medical libraries all the time, read everything in the literature about it, knew more than 98% of the doctors about it.

I had the same problem so I quit taking it. I found something else to stop the panic attacks :glugglug

sometimes i think that because i spent so much time online the past six or more years it contributed to the problems...
