Who watches football here and what club do you support?

Football as in soccer that is and not the American variety that is played with a rugby type ball. :)

I enjoy watching Premier, LaLiga and Serie A games. Bet I spelled several of those wrong :)

Was fun to see the goaltender score a goal this past week.

Sadly the US TV channels seem to replay the same games over and over.

Good choices - three of the premium leagues. :)

I`m sure you know already but you can find plenty of live games from other leagues throughout the world online.

Yes, Goaltender.

"Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has become the fourth goalkeeper to score in the English Premier League.

Everton lost 2-1 to Bolton, but opened the scoring through Howard's speculative effort.

A long downfield punt by the American was caught by the wind, bounced around 25 metres from the Bolton goal, and sailed past the despairing Adam Bogdan. "

I love to watch the world cup but other leagues I rarely watch unless it's a rivalry. I like Germany

Careful, there are those among us who cringe every time someone says the "S" word instead of football. Some even go ballistic and want to claw their own eyes out, which is why I say 'soccer' every so often, to rile them.

Anyone who picked more than one team, picked a team from another country or picked a team they don't live within 100 miles of but that has had long time success may as well not have posted, because you don't even understand what being a sports fan is about.

I've been a Chelsea fan since I was nine years old, but as I now live in Los Angeles getting to games is not easy as London is nearly 6,000 miles away. Though I did see Chelsea play AC Milan in Giants Stadium in '05, and against the LA Galaxy (David Beckham's first game for the Galaxy) in '07. And during the season I get up early on the weekends--sometimes as early as 4am--to watch their games live on TV. IMHO, that's what being a sports fan is about.
