For the Metal/Death Metal fans on GFY

This is a new song from my friend's (guy on the left) band Catharcyst. What's your opinion on it?

The drums on the track sound shitty.

My favorite metal band is World Under Blood.

It's a little rough, but not too bad...
the drumming is a little too "Lars-eqsue" and could use a little more bass drum

Vocals are ok, but the mix is off a little...can't quite put my finger on it...

With some polish and a little more depth in the drumming department, would a be a pretty solid song

They're old, and they should have become famous by now. There time is up.

You asked...

BTW - The second guy from left. Isn't that the old grey-haired dude who won American Idol way back when? Taylor, Tyler? What's his name?

Taylor Hicks! That's it!

Here's a pussy hippy song that has sentiment heavier than Taylor Hicks could ever imagine spewing:

All its missing is gut-crunching guitars and a bunch of noodle-noodle solos.

I agree a little rough but overall decent ... need some good studio tools

Nope, not him. All of the guys in this band are from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada

I'm sure that they will polish up the finished copy. I agree with needing more bass drum.
