cool setup, do you have a link to a review of that matrox model?
I'm using ati radeon and dual (17" and 19") but both crt, I kinda like radiation :)

Btw, have you tried some 3d apps (read: games) on it? (I know that older matrox cards were extremely slow in 3d but kicked 2d picture quality ass when compared to any other manufacturer (ati was close))

I have a G550, in 2D irt really kick ass. It hasn't OpenGL functions implemented, that's why it sucks in 3D but honestly I don't care, I'm not a gamer...

For some reason I am sure he will still get pretty much NOTHING done. So things will be just as they have always been. Now he just has more room to screw around basically.
