I'm calling it for Rick Santorum.

Paul takes 3rd.
Sorry fellas

Bill8 01-03-2012 08:43 PM

Santorum really is the ideal republican candidate.

Brujah 01-03-2012 08:47 PM

It doesn't matter. These stiffs and loons have little chance against Obama.

Gingrich is the only one that can beat Obama.... if people could look past his affairs.

Obama loss in 2012.

Mexico's Grand Warlock predicted US President Barack Obama would fail to win re-election and two more Latin American leaders would be diagnosed with cancer, in a traditional New Year's forecast Tuesday.

The Grand Warlock, or "Brujo Mayor" in Spanish, leads a Mexican tradition of "brujeria" or sorcery centered in the southeastern city of Catemaco.

DaddyHalbucks 01-03-2012 11:44 PM

Santorum is a social conservative and a big spender, not a good combination.

I will be honest, I was going to ask what it mattered until I heard this. So I guess my question is, what is the problem with Santorum? I have only heard him a little in the debates and he did not shock me like some of the others.

epitome 01-04-2012 12:10 AM

I thought santorum was an underdog? I don't even know any republicans that like him. Hell I was under the impression my republican friends who can't stand Obama would rather have Obama over him.

I don't know any Republicans that I talk politics with. Romney beat him by 8 votes.

Ron Paul got beat by Rick Santorum lol

Santorum draws support from the hardcore Evangelical Christian religious right fringe, the same way Ron Paul can count on the support of the right wing political looney fringe element.

They have pretty much tapped out their support. That is why Romney will probably get the nomination, despite being a Morman, and an establishment Republican (at a time when the GOP is being challenged internally by the Tea Party faction).

ADG

baddog 01-04-2012 03:20 AM

Is the Tea Party still relevant? Aren't they like the Occupy movement now?

Shotsie 01-04-2012 03:21 AM

Romney will win it, he has the nicest hair.

The fact that Romney has flip flopped on just about every position he's ever taken is probably hurting him as much if not more than any of the above. That said, I agree he'll get the nomination if only because, aside from Gingrich and Huntsman, he's the only one who's generally regarded as being certifiably sane.

His history of flip flops will kill him in the general election though.

The idiots the baggers elected to congress last year are all too relevant nowadays... unfortunately.

I know the point. :winkwink:
I don't care for the attack or its silly adherents.

I'm not a Santorum fan and know he has no chance of winning. I just wonder what goes thru someone's mind when they decide to swim in the cesspool of thought that created the fake definition.

The guy wants to outlaw contraception and arrest abortion doctors. He's a fucking nut of the worst kind.

Then why isn't it in the dictionary?

spazlabz 01-04-2012 11:41 AM

I am pretty surprised by the surge Santorum is experiencing, I thought he was out of it quite awhile ago. But I really think the Republican that will go against Obama will be Romney

college kids and the religious right make iowa unpredictable and irrelevant.

bronco67 01-04-2012 12:00 PM

The change in front-runners from week to week shows that the candidates are shit. Remember Herman Cain? Even that freak was the front runner for a while.

Bill8 01-04-2012 05:57 PM

Wow, you guys are stuck with romney, for the next few days at least. That must suck.

Not as bad as being stuck with santorum, so there's that.

Cue the magic underwear jokes.

There was a good magic underwear line in this vid...

It's interesting that romney's corporate backers invisible superpac money destroyed newt in iowa - newt was the smartest of the bunch, but the corps dont seem to like him. Wonder why?

it's not an attack

it's a display of how retarded a republican presidential candidate would have to be, to demand via the media, that google 'change' it's search results to remove an unfortunate cross/definition to his name

he makes, what, 3? speeches of something mild political fieryness and the definition, google search results, making sure EVERYONE references ur name to anal sludge, wouldn't even exist.

Sorry fellas

You might be forgetting the delegates Dr. Paul received. We voted for 2 in our precinct of 83. Both were Dr. Paul supporters.

It's nice to have the majority vote but delegates can make or break you :)

epitome 01-04-2012 11:13 PM

There is, of course, a back story to the whole Santorum thing...

Dan Savage has been after him for years.
