So How did you do in 2011?

Just checking out my statsremote and I pretty much matched what I made in 2010 but nowhere near what I did in 2009..

Rebills have been a very important factor in 2011 and they tend to drop off so 2012 will be a bit harder to match 2011 I feel like.

about the same or slightly better as 2010

2intense 01-02-2012 09:54 AM

2011 was great 4 me

ErectMedia 01-02-2012 09:55 AM

made more in the last 3 months than the first 9, so first 9 months average, last 3 killer, see if it continues into 2012 :thumbsup

pornguy 01-02-2012 09:59 AM

Up over all for the year over the last 2.

RyuLion 01-02-2012 10:03 AM

2011 was at least 4x better than 2010..

loreen 01-02-2012 11:39 AM

Better than the previous years with the same amount of work. Just different field.

$5 submissions 01-02-2012 11:40 AM

Actually, better than expected.

Paul Markham 01-02-2012 12:05 PM

Considering in January 2009 when we effectively closed the business. Not bad at all. We didn't expect it to last 3 years, now going into the 4th year and no idea how long it will continue to bring in some money.

Considering so many consider me a know nothing idiot, that has to confuse them. :1orglaugh

Markul 01-02-2012 12:55 PM

More than tripled my 2010 income (adult wise), but then again, I'm no big fish :)

seeandsee 01-02-2012 01:04 PM

I earned for food , next year i hope to attach few drinks

ArsewithClass 01-02-2012 02:25 PM

We have spent a lot of money out this year on our studio, not making the millions I hoped for yet :wink wink: But, on the whole, we made sufficient money to get through with less personal debt, all the bills paid & still happy with a nice warm roof over my head, great tv, broadband, food & wine. My car runs a treat & having sex every day, I can't complain & want to thank god for the things Natalie & I have earnt & own.

Nicky 01-02-2012 03:36 PM

Better than 2010

looky_lou 01-02-2012 05:07 PM

2011 was up 25% from 2010. But 2010 was down 25% from 2009. So, I was back up to 2009 level. If I can make a 25% increase for 2012 I will be very happy.

Trend 01-02-2012 08:11 PM

Website revenue down about 15% but overall revenues up about 20%.. but we diversified & worked our asses off for that increase.

anexsia 01-02-2012 08:31 PM

I did pretty good for my first full year in the adult business, nice extra income.

Horny Joe 01-03-2012 12:58 AM

Up about 20% from 2010. I was a bit surprised, as I thought it would be the other way around.

Biggie Smalls Web Writing 01-03-2012 01:56 AM

Better than ever...

BIGTYMER 01-03-2012 02:15 AM

All good.

Our second year in and we def did way better than last year. Im hoping it continues as we add on new girls. Im in a slightly different market than you guys, I know most the companies in my industry were complaining this year was slower because of the economy, but I don't know if that was just a self fullfilling prophecy or what not. It's easier to blame something than work harder to over come it.

Here is to an AWESOME 2012. Making money off the naughty stuff... what else could be better?

2007 and 2008 were my best years in this biz.. So yeah anything I do now will be much less than those 2 years

slapass 01-03-2012 07:29 AM

Down every year since 2006... sucks.

I fucked around putting up white labels and crap sites in adult for a couple years, but never really put in any effort until about the last quarter of last year. That little bit of effort and the returns I saw really inspired me to give adult more focus and see what the full potential could be. This will be the year :)

The Porn Nerd 01-03-2012 02:57 PM

Mister Peabody World added eight new websites to the network this year so revenue is way up, and will continue to grow as I add more and more in 2012. :)

We saw something roughly similar - 2009 sucked. I think that's probably true overall.
I think our business is an indicator of the overall industry because when lots of sites do wekl, we do well. When webmasters are not making good money, they spend less with us.

Clonebox has been good for us. We chose a value pricing model, so it's not turning huge profits, but it's boosted revenue.
