The whole set was shot with available light and one of our Canon 5D "Classic" bodies and a Canon 24-105 lens. It was low light outdoors so I shot @ 1600 ISO. Lens was F8 @ 1/125 on the shutter. Processed & color graded in Adobe Camera Raw & Photoshop.

For this particular shot... the lens was zoomed to 105mm - the longest I could go with that lens.

wow, I thought with the focus so out within inches and so perfect on the pussy itself, it was definitely a low f stop 1.8 or less! It must be the shutter & the high iso for the absolutely clear detail.

Yea, basically I just zoomed the lens out to 105mm and then physically moved my camera in as close as possible (and still keep focus) and then snapped the shot. When you do that, even at F8 you have very limited depth of field.
