Tebow

I pull for the guy but he is absolutely horrid, in fact I don't think I've ever seen a starting quarterback as bad - he's a fullback. John Elway is in a terrible position, but after today maybe Broncos fans have had their eyes opened and realize what Tebow is.

finally. for a couple weeks, i was wondering if that prayer shit actually worked. Thank you God for showing us that praying to you does nothing.

They made the playoffs, which given how shitty Tebow is, is a miracle. Seems praying does work. Not for starving people of course but for shitty athletes apparently.

What is the big deal with this guy? So he is a good player who happens to be christian and prays.. is this really that amazing to people?

justinsain 01-01-2012 05:35 PM

It was painful to watch but I'm going to have to place some of the blame on the coaches and the way they play the game. I think Phil Sims got it right when he said they keep Tebow locked down and never give him a chance to find his rhythm so to speak.

The coaches game plan seemed to be pound the running game and wear out the defense until they break one for a score. McGahee came real close to breaking a couple. That also keeps Tebow from making any costly rookie mistakes.

That coaching strategy hasn't payed off the last few games and I hope they modify it for the playoffs.

Tebow has a long way to go before he's great NFL QB and to get there he needs experience.

On a side note, the referees blew several calls in the games I watched including the obvious face mask on Tebow that would have put them first and goal instead of having to kick a FG. Nothing worse than a blown call that changes momentum or a swing in points.

If Tebow plays well and they pull out a playoff win Elway will be in a tough spot next season. If he sucks and they lose he can easily then make a move to bring in another QB and either switch Tebow to another position, trade him or make him a backup.

No, he is not a good player, that's the big deal. The only reason he is in there to begin with is because christian nuts pressured Fox to start him, even going so far as to put up a billboard right next to the Broncos training camp. He beat a few lousy teams and people started seeing Tebow images on their fucking toilet paper. Suddenly every christian moron in the country became a Tebow fan and acted like he was the second coming of christ, but the truth he just an overglorified fullback who can't hit a receiver in the same zip code.

Next week he has to face the steelers defense. Enjoy making the playoffs denver fans, because next week could get real ugly.

WebairGerard 01-01-2012 06:27 PM

After next week will really show if he belongs or not. He has had a good run. Think he's come back down to earth.

At the end of the day, it's all about results. I am sure Tebow knows that. At the end of the season, it's decision time...

The steelers are not looking to good. Denver has a shot.

I'm not sure what would be better - they lose and we stop fucking hearing about him for several months, or they get to the Super Bowl and win, which will make everyone of faith wonder wtf HE'S doing that they're not such that god helps him and not them, lol. God the sports fan.

The rapture has a better chance of happening than Tebow winning this years superbowl.

Biggie Smalls Web Writing 01-02-2012 02:39 AM

He is average QB...

V_RocKs 01-02-2012 07:56 AM

Your attitude is part of what made Tebow this year's NFL sensation.

People said he won't get drafted, he did.

People said he won't start, he did.

People said he doesn't have the mechanics to win, he did.

People said he wouldn't be on a .500 team, he is.

People said he wouldn't make it to the playoffs he did.

Now you say he won't win the Superbowl, lets see.

If the Broncos go on to win the Superbowl this year I'm sure people will say
he'll never win a second Superbowl. :upsidedow

So far he has advanced further than a lot of people's expectations and its really time for those people to rethink
their judging criteria because they keep getting it wrong.

With the way Denver has played the last few games, I don't think they can go all the way but it sure would be exciting to watch if they did.
Superbowl blowouts suck. Imagine Tebow time and a late fourth quarter comeback to win the Superbowl like they did earlier in the season. :)

L-Pink 01-02-2012 08:41 AM

He would make a great tight end.
