A strange article. In Britain an asian man is someone from the indian sub-continent, anyone from the far east we call Oriental so why he should be upset by this song is a bit strange.

But then this is the country where three somalian immigrants badly attacked a white girl shouting "kill the white bitch" and were let off because they were not used to drink, the judge said they were not racist and criticised the girl's boyfriend for defending her. I don't get it. Someone makes a complaint to the police about racial abuse. The police are compelled to act and do so. And, uh... what? The guy wasn't charged, wasn't tried, wasn't convicted, wasn't anything, just released after the police got his side. WTF is the story here?

I guess the story here is there there were some policemen who were following the rules too strictly because they were scared to tell the Asian guy to go fuck himself. The racial subject is SO touchy.

The point is, does it matter? If you're over fifty-five years old, so you were around in the 1960s, then ok, I would expect that had a big effect on you and I'll understand if race is a big deal to you. Under fifty-five years old, it might be better to stop thinking so much about who your great-great-grandfather was and more about who you are going to be.

In answer to your question, here's a hint. My wife is Jamaican and it's not a bi-racial marriage. If you can't figure that out, good, because it doesn't friggin matter.
