Google SEO Experts Please Help - Primary KW Drop

Here is the deal, newer site 3 months old... PR2 Alexa 720k. Started my KW campaigns everything was going great, was ranking 1st page for these keywords (about 9 different keywords).
All legit hardlink trades... Now all of a sudden I am dropping off the chart for these certain keywords. Here is an example of one of my KW's on Webmaster Tools: http://i.imgur.com/63fyf.gif Does anyone have any input on the reason or may know how to fix this problem? If it a penalty can this be re-achieved or is it permanent for my domain? |

That does seem odd, google might of updated there formula, other than that i can't explain it. Do you have any tips on how you were able to score so well on the 9 keywords so fast. Are you basically finding long tail keywords and create a bunch of back links?

Your #1 on the tubes toplist on your site (ricsporn) is a known cheater and hitbot.

You used black seo, now google found out and dropped your positions.

Give us more details pls. Did you lately changed something in your site like script, tags, hosting etc? Did your partners dropped your links?

assuming you didn't mess up with your title tags & permalinks structure; either:
	1) You lost the fresh content boost which is often temporary 2) ( most likely ), the backlinks you had got devalued thereby losing their power to pass on reputation score. 3) competitors ramped up their seo to get ahead of your site. |

Check your linkbuilding profile, remove bad or spammy links.

There's a lot more that goes into account than just link building. If your site has a high bounce rate and low avg time per visit then Google will know this, see your site doesn't deliver the ideal user experience, and replace the #1 spot with something that presumably delivers more value to the user. Don't get me wrong, SEO tools are important but delivering a good user experience is just as.
Do you have Google Analytics on your site or do you use different analytics? |

Hi - Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have a similar issue and its seems to make sense to add to this one....but please tell be to f**k off and open my own if you wish ;-)
I understand the honeymoon period where after a couple of months my site disappears from the top page or two for my keywords into oblivion. I have slowly built links and added regular content. On most sites my listing slowly comes back up the ranking and all's good. However, on a few sites, my TLD never appears again (and I'm talking over a year). However, pages within my site appear high up the ranking for the keywords. I can not understand. My link building links to the TLD, anchor text is for my targetted keywords, google webtools shows by TLD as having the highest relevance for the keywords. I have not used black hat techniques. I'm completely lost!!!!!! I was wondering if anyone had the same issue or could shed some light? |
