How do you pronouce Epoch?
 

Always wondered. Now that they've paid me close to 50k I think it's time I learned.

Nobody knows.

And the people who originally DID know...all mysteriously disappeared about 10 years ago.

We now have thousands of people who all pronounce it differently and no way to ever know the truth.

ok, thanks guys. Got a long bad habit of pronouncing it wrong, it's not a company many people talk about, mostly emails and IM's so there's not a lot of opportunity to hear it out loud.

I pronounce it 'epic' tho I suppose it SHOULD be called "eee-pock" since 'epoch' is a real word, as in "the Neanderthal Epoch".

Maybe we should ask the History Channel. :)
