Public apology to kacy and certified hostings.

the thread i made previously about certified hustings.

I am extremely sorry for putting out bad words about you and your company.

I know i made few mistakes and this is one of them, by not keeping backup and telling everyone that certified hosting sucks,

but in the truth, till date the certified hosting is the only hosting whoose support is not only top notch but they even solve your issue within one hour after you emailing them.

and would like to recommend them to you all

i am cheap shared hosting customer till date but still certified hosting have helped me and treated me like i am a dedicated customer.
it was my responsibility to backup the data if anything happens to the data, but i didnt and i blamed certified hosting for that.

i am still new kid in here so please forgive me and give me chance to be one of you.

sorry for my bad English also.

Yours truly.

I have had a co-located server there since like 2000, if they sucked I would not put my business at that kind of risk... They have been great, very responsive the few times I had to get ahold of tech support, even at early morning hours. I would recommend...

Pornopat 12-29-2011 10:52 PM

I have 4 servers there and just requested number 5.
Your thread reminded me to request back-ups as well cause they are getting pretty filled up so I have now send the request.

Kacy has always been super with me.

Certified Hosting, aka Naked Hosting threatened to delete all files, and therefore lively hood from one of my clients.

The outstanding balance was 98 dollars.

Further, once bill was paid, they blocked ftp and ssh access because they "thought" the next bill may not get paid. Well that was paid as well and you guys can chalk that one up as...

Your clients are your lively hood, piss too many of them off and you won't have any.

Food for thought mr naked

It takes a real man to admit when you're wrong. That's the kind of person I like to do business with. Email me for a discount code on any of our security and peace of mind offerings. Call it the "I can admit when I'm wrong" discount. (It sounds like you need Clonebox.)

Absolutely. Bad things happen to hosting companies and to data centers all the time. When The Planet caught fire, thousands of servers melted. If your hosting company was only backup, your backup would have melted in the track right next to your main server.

Backups must be:
Offsite
Automatic
Tested
Quickly available
Rotated to cover multiple dates

For a web server, "offsite" means not hosted in the same DC as your main server, with the same company.

Simple solution. Pay your hosting bill on time.

Solution: Ban indian customers, they just complain and waste your time.

I understand. Just stating it as it is. The "additional" shut off ftp on the second bill is what was over the top for me.

Oh well, to each his own, after all, the dollar is the only thing that matters... Right?

More than likely an outstanding balance of $98 was owed, and a new bill was coming due and not yet paid so access was denied. This is standard in hosting. When a customer gets behind like that alot of times they will move their stuff in the middle of the night leaving the previous host with a balance owed. Not saying this particular "client" of yours was a host hopper, but it is understandable that certified was gun shy here.
Way to fix the problem is tell your client to pay their bill on time.
