the new 1 owns for hte most part. detail in the city = unreal. attention to detail by the creators is great. only gripe that i have is the game is extremely hard. buts its a fun game.

i prefered the first sim city on super nintendo, it was so fine :Graucho

We have been palying it for a few weeks, use the cheats to grow then citys :)

I played it for about 10 hrs when I bought it about 2 weeks ago. but I haven't touched it all this week. The graphics are really great but it is extremely harder than previous versions. In SimCity 4, you also micro-manage everything which can get a bit tedious after a while.

It would be so nice if someone with SC4 would, uh, backup a copy and store it with me. lol

I bought it (SimCity 4) a couple weeks ago too. Haven't had much time to play it yet, but it is pretty kick ass.

Takes up a TON of your computer's resources though.
Even on a fast machine...

Damn, it's a shame there's no way to pirate Hosting :(

Version 1 was pimpin on my Amiga500.

3000 was a little too confusing for me .. well .. not confusing, but not much fun to play, too many things to do all at once ..

I can't wait to try SimCity 4 though, it looks awesome

Plus you can follow a single sim that lives in your city

It seems there are a lot of people having problems with crashes using the MySim feature
